John Lobo, CEO
John is majority owner of Proton Data Security, LLC and has twenty-five years experience in business management starting his career in 1982 with Citicorp/Citibank/Citigroup in the areas of product development, sales management, human resources and business management. He was responsible for the Insurance Business at Citicorp, Florida and managed the company’s most successful second mortgage sales office in the nation. Since leaving Citi, he has successfully operated and managed a residential mortgage business, a real estate investment corporation and most recently been involved in the management of an RFID technology start-up company, Visible Assets. In three years at Visible Assets, John helped to take the company from an early start-up with a valuation of $ 9 million to a proven technology company with a valuation of approximately $ 120 million. John holds an MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a BSBA from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta, India.

Dr. M.A. Ebadian, Ph.D, Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Ebadian has more than 25 years experience in working with academia, private industry, and government at all levels. During his career as a researcher and administrator, he has secured and managed more than $ 100 million in work for the military, federal government, and commercial sectors, both in the U.S. and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. From January 2005 to the present he has worked with the Gas Technology Institute (GTI) and other major private sector corporations in pursuing several ongoing major initiatives as well as initiating several new ones dealing with building multidisciplinary teams composed of academic institutions from different states, small businesses and major companies to respond to several announcements from Federal agencies. Those included a Center of Excellence from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), an Energy Research Center from the National Science Foundation (NSF), and others. He is also a Professor of Mechanical and Materials Engineering in the College of Engineering at Florida International University (FIU) and has taught various courses, among them one dealing with entrepreneurial leadership, especially emphasizing the positive and negative impacts of Technology on Society. Dr. Ebadian currently is a member of 14 professional societies and serves on several governmental committees including the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Research, Engineering and Development Advisory Committee. He has also been a member of panels and advisory boards of the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Dr. Ebadian holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University. He obtained his M.S. degree in Engineering Management from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Dr. Ebadian has published extensively, with 104 journal publications and 174 meeting and proceedings papers to his credit. He is an Associate Editor of ASME Journal of Heat Transfer and has authored chapters in two reference texts, and a third textbook on forced convection is currently in press. A vigorous supporter of higher education, Dr. Ebadian was given the Distinguished Service Medallion by FIU and the Service Award by the Governor of the State of Florida.

John Mahan, VP - Government Solutions
John has been an Entrepreneurial and Technical Professional for the last 14 years working with government customers and their commercial contractors worldwide. He has more than 23 years progressive experience in diverse industries and sectors; including telecommunications, enterprise software, professional services and commercial investment & financing businesses. Before joining Proton Data Security, John held a variety of executive-level positions with government contractors and private corporations throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Mr. Mahan’s professional experience in Government markets extend across Federal, Civilian and Department of Defense (DOD) customers; State & Local Government; and Higher Education Institutions. John studied Business and Government Affairs through George Washington University.

Michael Insabella, VP – Homeland Security Liaison
Mike joins Proton Data Security with more than 35 years of law enforcement and corporate security experience after holding distinguished positions specializing in dignitary protection, institutional security and investigations. He retired from the United States Secret Service where he served under 5 Presidential administrations and has held many compartmentalized clearances above “top secret”. While at the White House he was required to handle data provided from virtually every federal intelligence service and wrote procedural guidelines for the handling and destruction of data. After 23 years with the Secret Service, Mike continued in the private sector as a consultant for international internet product launches, provided assessment and training of foreign protective security forces and was selected by the Presidential Inaugural Committee to conduct security planning for the Presidential Inaugural Balls. Most recently he was the Director of Executive Protection for Office Depot/ Viking International Office Products, headquartered in Delray Beach, Florida. Mike brings a unique “government-corporate” security perspective to sensitive data handling and destruction. He received his BA in Political Science from St. Thomas University, Miami, Florida and has Specialized Secret Service Training, Classified and Unclassified.

Michael Wegwermer, International Sales Director
Michael, with over twenty-five years of business experience, is an empowering and success-driven self-employed sales director with a dynamic work ethic and exceptional sales and distribution skills allied to focused business acumen. He has a proven track record of sourcing business-enhancing distribution networks overseas and has established networks in UK, Europe, the Far East and USA. Michael has successfully developed franchises for sale and distribution of Belzona products in Ireland, has participated in numerous InvestNI sponsored trade missions to the USA, India, China and RSA and has attended and exhibited at trade shows all over the world. Michael has a Master of Science (Business Management) from Queen’s University, Belfast, N. Ireland and a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and Economics) from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta, India.

Craig Armstrong, Chief Financial Officer
Craig has over 13 years of public accounting and industry experience. In addition to serving as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, he currently serves as the managing principal for Chaves & Armstrong, PA, a certified public accounting firm in South Florida. Craig’s career included serving two years as the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting - Special Projects with Ryder System, Inc., a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Miami, Florida. In his role, Craig was responsible for the implementation of recently issued technical accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations. Additionally, he provided technical accounting support for all treasury and corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, as well as communicated with external auditors on technical accounting matters. Prior to joining Ryder System, Inc., Craig was an audit manager with the firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Miami, Florida. While with the firm, he worked on clients of various sizes and industries. His clients ranged from Fortune 500, public companies to local or middle market companies, while his industry experience included the manufacturing and retail, technology, cruise line and hospitality, transportation, construction and broadcasting industries. Craig also served two years as the South Florida Site Leader for audits of employee benefit plans. Craig, prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, began his career with the firm of Williams, Cox, Weidner, and Cox in Tallahassee, Florida. He spent three years in the firm’s audit department and served clients in the construction and not-for-profit industries. Craig has a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Florida State University, is currently licensed as a certified public accountant in the states of Florida and Georgia, and is a member of the FICPA and AICPA. He is actively involved in various charitable organizations and currently serves on the audit and finance committee of the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami, as well as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Back on Track Network, Inc. Additionally, Craig serves as an advisor to the Board of Directors of the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association.

William Olliges, CEO, Proton Engineering Inc. and COO, Advanced Lubrication Technology Inc.
William has more than 40 years electronic, mechanical and chemical engineering experience. Employed by many large firms as product development specialist, he managed redesign of existing product lines and redeployment of manufacturing assets. William’s engineering firm, Proton Engineering Inc., developed specialized navigational sonar systems and computer media security equipment for major US government and military agencies. He holds some 35 US and foreign patents, software copyrights both issued and pending. His industry affiliations are STLE (Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers) ACS (American Chemical Society), ACEC (American Consulting Engineers Council) and FAS (Federation of American Scientists).

James Armstrong, Esq., Attorney
Mr. Armstrong has over 40 years of international and domestic legal experience, including some 25 years in the diversified financial services industry. He has extensive experience in the areas corporate governance, regulatory assessments, and mergers and acquisitions. He was a Vice President, Assistant General Counsel of CitiFinancial International, formerly Associates International Holdings, and affiliates for some 14 years and in addition to numerous asset acquisitions had legal responsibility for the $1.2 billion equity acquisition of Unimat Life in Japan and the $1.1 billion acquisition of Beneficial Finance in Canada. Mr. Armstrong has been involved in start-up operations in Mexico, Costa Rica, Taiwan and the US and has extensive experience in other global markets, particularly Japan. He has a B.A. from Duke University, an LL.B from the University of Texas School of Law, and has been admitted to practice law in the States of Texas,
Illinois, and Florida.
